We’ve seen many schools look for the vanity project; something which sounds good but doesn’t necessarily solve fundamental problems. These might be that the first impression of the campus isn’t selling the excellent academic and pastoral capabilities, or it may be a set of logistical challenges which are making everyone’s lives harder than they need to be.
A master plan is all about creating a big picture so that the little pieces fall into place: understanding a school’s long-term aspirations, understanding the pastoral and academic values and creating a master plan vision which reflects these. From that a coherent strategy means that the right projects can seamlessly be planned for, and brought to life at the right time.
