No design changes needed

What do these three buildings have in common? They were all granted planning approval without any requirement for design changes, despite each being located in a highly sensitive planning context.

Knossington Passivhaus (Conservation Area), The Paddock House (outside a settlement boundary and adjacent to a Grade II listed building), and the Performing Arts and Dining Building at Lingfield College (Green Belt) each faced very different constraints. Yet all three secured consent as-submitted (no design changes requested), showing how carefully reasoned, high-quality proposals can successfully navigate even the most challenging planning environments.
This reflects the approach we bring to every project: developing thoughtful, sustainable designs grounded in robust reasoning and clearly aligned with planning policy from the outset, while ensuring the architecture remains ambitious and true to our clients’ objectives.
The benefits for our clients are clear — less time spent in the planning process, fewer compromises to their vision, and fewer delays or complications when moving into construction.
If this approach resonates with you, then please get in touch about your project.
