It was a pleasure and an honour to be invited by Carl Brace to present to the planning officers and committee members at the Wychavon District Council training day yesterday.

We delivered what was hopefully a thought provoking presentation exploring contemporary design, what defines good design and how to identify it. We also touched on the fundamentals of Passivhaus and sustainable low energy buildings, sharing several of our recent examples in the area.

It was great to be able to welcome attendees to our recently completed Anchorage Passivhaus, a dynamic, contemporary, low energy certified Passivhaus in Wyre Piddle which as a piece of contemporary design seamlessly integrates into the conservation area, listed setting and connects with its riverside setting.

Equally encouraging was the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with members who are clearly committed to raising design standards and promoting responsible, sustainable development.
