Is affordable housing actually affordable if the occupants can’t experience energy independence?

We wouldn’t say so, and that’s why we’re delighted to be working with Red Kite Community Housing and FSG Property Services to craft and bring to life four truly affordable, healthy and secure apartments in High Wycombe. Built to Passivhaus principles, these homes will boast exceptional energy efficiency, keeping utility bills low while reducing their environmental footprint. Perhaps most importantly, with superior insulation, ventilation systems and elimination of thermal bridges, they will avoid the accumulation of mould and provide a healthy indoor environment.

Giving new life to a brownfield site in High Wycombe, this fantastic project will not only provide individuals or families a place to call their own, but at the same time significantly reduce the chances of them experiencing fuel poverty, with a clear positive physical and mental impact on their lives.

We are delighted to be seeing these low carbon timber frames coming to life and hopefully becoming homes in early 2025.
