It is a real pleasure for us to see the Performing Arts and Dining project (Phase 1) at Lingfield College almost complete. Today, the dining space which has been re-imagined to creating a calm, comfortable space will, for the first time, see 700 students and staff dine within the space.
This project, which we've driven from concept to completion, has been completely reimagined and retrofitted. A new acoustic ceiling which will reduce and control the acoustic reverberation by a factor of three, while the mechanical equipment which will ensure up to four air changes per hour with minimal heat loss.
The fantastic bespoke servery was carefully crafted by Eren Hasan and his fantastic team at Catersales. This, in conjunction with the refurbished kitchen, come together to help serve the healthy, fresh food which Lingfield’s catering team diligently prepare each day.
The external elements of the project will come together over the next few weeks, with the radical transformation of the monolithic brick building completed.
